Best place ever to eat! Staff is very friendly and food is amazing. Great prices as well! All you can eat with over 25 items to choose from for cheap! Love coming here with my friends and family. The owner is a sweetheart. He treats his customers well and knows how to joke around. Will always come back to this place.

My wife and I are Mexican food fanatics and after five years of driving by this place, we wanted to finally try them. We had lunch.
We are always on the prowl to discover great new restaurants, but... we don't have a shortage of Mexican food restaurants around here that we already like a lot (we are regulars at a few other Mexican restaurants in the area).
Unfortunately, we were not impressed with Casa Jimenez. We really wanted to like it though because it would be something new for us. It wasn't bad, we just wanted it to be amazing and.. it wasn't. The food was just typical average mexican food. Nothing special or unique from other Mexican restaurants that we like.
The building looks nice, the restaurant was clean, the vibe was okay, and the service was fine, but the food was disappointing. Was just too ordinary for us.

This was my first time here. I moved to the Claremont area more than 20 years ago, I have driven by this location many times, but went in for the first time. Truthfully, I wish I kept going, and had skipped it. The waitress was a bit slow taking the order and that was the best part of the service. After I ordered a bottled beer, it took 10 minutes to arrive. I know this is taco Tuesday but there weren't more than 4 other tables occupied. My chips and salsa arrived in a reasonable time, 2 kinds, one a fresh salsa and a second more liquid salsa with a real kick. My chicken quesadilla arrived, along with enough grease in it to light a candle through an earthquake emergency. My first introduction to the amount of grease was it literally dripping out into my dress pants. I rushed to get the piece back over the plate so it could drip out (see picture). At that point I was seriously looking for a wick to make a little improv quesadilla grease candle. By the time I got to the second piece the grease had completely soaked through the tortilla in the bottom. Normally it stays crisp on bottom or might soften a bit due to condensation. Nope, this was grease soaked!! I eventually just tried to scrap some of the chicken out and eat it on the tortilla chips. They tasted good when they came out originally, but as they cooled down they took on a metallic taste. To me that's usually a sign of old oil. Needless to say, I will never be going back again, I wish I could forget going the first time.

We frequently come here but lately the food has been getting worse. Recently picked up some chicken soup to go... got home opened it and it smelled rotten. Disgusting.. threw it out.. was too late to take back. they need keep up with their sanitary habits and make sure their food is not spoiled. May need to find another mexican place
